At Hero Scent, fragrance is more than just a scent—it’s a story, a character, an adventure waiting to unfold.

Our journey begins in sunny Wisconsin, at a place we call The Fumery—where the dice roll freely, the scent of alchemy fills the air, and every bottle we create is steeped in the magic of fantasy roleplaying. We’re a family business, crafting unique, high-quality fragrances inspired by the worlds we love. Around our Big Table, we play Dungeons & Dragons, mix perfume, and dream up the next great olfactory adventure.

There are four of us—Jinx, Sarah, and our two kids, Jett and Cece—and we bring over 20 years of perfumery experience to every bottle we blend. Each fragrance is an original creation, carefully formulated with high-quality fragrance oils and accords, designed to capture the essence of class, race, and roleplaying archetypes. Every scent is crafted by a Strange, ensuring each one is as unique as the stories we tell.

Beyond fragrance, we pour our love of tabletop gaming into every detail. Miniatures on our site? We 3D print and paint them ourselves (unless otherwise noted—sources and paint jobs are always credited). And when it comes to art, we believe in human creativity. The stunning comic-style artwork you see? That’s all thanks to the talented Makio Kuta—we proudly stand against AI-generated art in favor of real, inspired craftsmanship.

Jinx is also the founder of Strange Fire & Fumery, where the passion for fragrance and fantasy began. Hero Scent is our next adventure, and we’re thrilled to share it with you.
